Check1Two's was created to help people. Check1Two features unlimited number of tracks added by local artists, licensed by the artists themselves. Check1Two jukebox is an artist controlled jukebox. The idea is so that any label, studio, producer, or musician, no matter how big or small can have the freedom to promote his works, and collect their own royalties. There is nothing more rewarding to a musician than for others to listen to their music, and to get payed too. While today's industry is controlled by few, tomorrows industry will be controlled by all. This jukebox allows everyone to be part of it.
The Jukebox software uses licensed Open Source Software, mainly Java, JavaFX and was built on NetBeans IDE. The drivers for the bill acceptor were developed in house. For the Operating System we could use any OS due to the portability of Java but we chose to use Solaris and Open Solaris, on X86 architecture, so you can count on it running for ever.
High efficiency with extremely low power consumption the jukebox features an RoSH compliant 17 inch an all in one Kontron touch panel from IGoLogic, that can withstand temperatures of up to -40 degrees and runs so quiet you would think the system is off. We currently use the worlds most popular bill validator MEI 2600 that can accept 1, 5, or 10s, so you can count on it not breaking.
The Jukebox case features a 3 in 1 design, so you can mount it on the wall, put use it on a table top or use it with a base as stand alone. The case is built out of 1/4 inch mild steel and weighs 300 pounds with the base and 150 pounds without the base. It's stronger than a tank. There is also a light inside of the jukebox, that shines through the check1two logo in the from through 2 inch bullet proof glass. There is also LoJack, onStar, GPS and GLONASS inside the jukebox in case you need to find it.
The Jukebox has a Data Pro panel which contains RCA, 2, 3.5mm Jacks, and XLR audio out connectors for audio, USB, RS232 for serial data for bill acceptor and remote, and RJ45 Ethernet jack for internet. Note there are no speakers or amplifiers in the Jukebox, so you can use any system that fits the needs and budget of your venue.
